Southern California Genealogy Jamboree Continues!

I started this morning in the very best way. Yesterday, hats were off to Blaine Bettinger's thorough but easily understood presentation on DNA, but today, thus far anyway, I am learning in spades from Judy Russell. What a great way to start my day.

Judy is advocating, as we all should be, for all of us to volunteer, join genealogical societies, and to lobby our congresspersons  (I just messaged my local candidate, Nancy Cronk) to support keeping information and records open as well as the "Genealogists'' Bill of Rights." If we do not advocate for our rights, we will lose them.

Currently, It's time for the blogger summit. Later!
